Mike Smith, President - CMCA, AMS
Mike joined the Omega team in 2005 as a community manager. In 2012 he became a partner, and in 2014 assumed the role of President & CEO. Mike is a graduate of Lock Haven University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Prior to Omega, Mike worked as an assistant property manager for a large multifamily group in Durham, NC. Mike also worked for a local custom homebuilder as an apprentice/project manager. He has earned his CMCA and AMS designations through the Community Associations Institute’s (CAI) Professional Management Development Program and has earned his NC Real Estate Brokers License. Mike is well versed in all aspects of community association management including residential, commercial and developer services.
Stacy Sewell, Vice President
Prior to joining Omega in 2009, Stacy attended St. Mary’s College and lived in Chapel Hill before relocating to Dallas, Texas, where she worked in management and marketing for ten years. In addition to managing communities for Omega, Stacy oversees the day-to-day operations of the office, board events, staff training and assists the administrative team. and assists the administrative team. Stacy's primary goal is to ensure best practices are utilized throughout all of Omega's processes and services.
Rachel Bush, Community Manager
As a Community Manager, Rachel oversees both single family and townhomes. With her outgoing personality and strong work ethic, along with her prior experience, Rachel has an unequaled talent working with our communities. Originally from Pennsylvania, Rachel graduated with an Associates in Programming, Web Design and Database. She joined Omega in 2014 and has completed The Essentials of Community Association Management through CAI and is eager to obtain her CMCA Certification.
Tom Neal, Community Manager - CMCA
Tom brings his 20-plus years managing with a background as a general contractor, and 10-plus years of experience in the landscaping industry to Omega. Tom’s current portfolio includes town home, single family, and commercial condominium associations. He joined our team as a Community Manager in early 2013 and works tirelessly on behalf of the communities he serves.
Laura Summe, Community Manager - CMCA, AMS
As a Community Manager, Laura's current portfolio includes single family homes, townhomes and communities still under development. Laura studied Business Administration at Northern Kentucky University, and holds her CMCA and AMS designations through CAI (Community Association Institutes). She joined Omega in 2012 and has over 17 years of community management experience, and has served on her own community's HOA Board in various positions. Laura recognizes and values the trust her communities have placed in her and she strives every day to exceed their expectations.
Stephanie Ware, CMCA, AMS
Stephanie is a long-time resident of the Apex Cary area, moving from the Charleston, SC area to Apex in 1987. Over her career, she has worked for developers, national builders, and as Director of Marketing for Vanguard Homes, marketed the first WaterSense® Home, receiving recognition from Stephen Johnson, Administrator of the US EPA. For the last nine years she has worked as a Community Manager. She holds the CAI designations of Association Management Specialists, and Certified Manager of Community Associations. Stephanie has three children and three grandsons, and lives in the Cary area.
Jennifer Wichowski, Community Manager - CMCA
Jennifer graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Relations, and a master’s degree in Recreation Administration. She began her career at the Stoneridge/Sedgefield Swim and Racquet Club in Chapel Hill, NC, where she was Club Manager for over 11 years. She later owned her own pool management company and holds certifications as a Certified Pool and Spa Operator. She is a member of the Resort and Commercial Recreation Association and also the Community Associations Institute (CAI) where she obtained her CMCA. Jennifer has served on her community’s Board of Directors for ten years as Treasurer, Vice President and President. She appreciates and is dedicated to all that it takes to achieve successful association and community management.
Kasey Williams, Community Manager - CMCA, AMS
Kasey joined the Omega team as a Community Manager in 2012, having previously worked in on-site management since 2008. Her current portfolio includes townhomes, single family homes and communities still under development. Kasey holds her CMCA and AMS designations through CAI and is a Raleigh native who graduated from Meredith College. Kasey is passionately focused on understanding and interpreting HOA law and appreciates the problem-solving aspect of this industry and a valuable member of our team.
Amy Homovich, Assistant Community Manager
Amy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Wilkes University. She has experience as an on-site and portfolio assistant manager and currently works as an on-site Assistant Manager in Apex. She enjoys working in the industry and helping to provide excellent services to homeowners. Amy is invaluable to the Omega Team!
Monica Davis, Community Service Representative
Monica graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. She joined the Omega team in 2018 and works cheerfully through her day as she provides excellent service to the HOAs she cares for.
Anastasia Hoogland, Community Service Representative
Anastasia graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies from Texas State University. She joined Omega in 2019 and has experience in customer service, real estate and office management.
Haffye Lumpkin, Community Service Representative
Haffye joined Omega in 2018. She studied Business Administration and Marketing at East Carolina University. She has experience with customer service, product design and sales.
Jessica MacDonald, Community Service Representative
Jessica MacDonald has been with Omega since 2012. She first began in our accounting department, in charge of accounts receivables and collections. In 2016. Jessica transitioned to our management team and works closely with Tom Neal. Jessica came to Omega with over 25 years in customer service, project management and logistics. She worked with companies such as American Express, Valley Forge and Waterpik/Jandy.
Laura Moushegian, Community Service Representative
Laura moved to North Carolina in 1999 and has been working in HOA management since 2000. She has an Associates Degree in Business from Valencia College in Orlando, FL. Laura joined Omega in 2004 and handles the day-to-day community management activities while delivering exceptional client services.
Julie Worthington, Community Service Representative
Julie joined the Omega team in 2017 as the On-Site Assistant Manager for Bella Casa. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing from Radford University. Previous experience includes working in commercial leasing, property management and a Big Three tax firm. Julie’s commitment to excellence is clearly evident as she works with our communities.
Forrest Wilson, Accounting Manager
Prior to joining Omega in 2012, Forrest worked in the HOA industry since 2007, and has worked with over 500 communities over the years. Forrest previously worked at another management company until 2012, advancing from staff accountant to accounting manager. He has extensive experience issuing and reviewing financial statements for 350 communities, handling day-to-day issues with bank accounts, bank reconciliations, automatic drafts and processing communities coming into or leaving management. Forrest earned his Masters in Accounting at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2005. He employs a rigid attention to detail that far surpasses client expectations.
Joanne Capiz, Staff Accountant
Joanne earned her bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2004 at Holy Angel University in the Philippines. She worked in accounting for a real estate company for five years before moving to North Carolina in 2010. Joanne joined the Omega Team in 2015, primarily handling HOA closings, processing resales and assisting with daily accounting tasks. Joanne is very detail oriented and precise, and enjoys working with our community teams.
Rachel Parker, Staff Accountant
Rachel graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She joined Omega in 2019 with experience in accounting, sales and customer service. She enjoys and values working in both bookkeeping and accounting and working with our communities.
Catherine Rich, Receptionist
Catherine joined the Omega team in 2005. She has experience in office administration and enjoys the opportunity to interact with our communities, vendors and staff.
